New Characters + Balance Update 1.4.0

Hello to all Naruto-Arena Classic players!

Starting in 2026, we are planning to release monthly a Major Update. Each update will bring either New Characters or Major Balance (optimizations/reworks).

There will always be a two-month interval between an update focused on New Characters and another update focused on Major Balances. This way, players won't need to worry about the game changing too frequently, like new characters being released every month or character skills being changed every month.

The monthly Major Update is scheduled for the 15th. And with that said, do not expect Balance Updates outside of Major Updates, except for changes related to nerfs for characters from that Major Update who are performing above average, or boosts for characters that are underperforming.

Also, we would like to say that Naruto Arena Classic will now be able to count on the help of our new admin Lync, also known as Nise, to code the next updates and to help us work on them directly. You can also report bugs to him and any other issues you find in N-A Classic.

So a big shout out to our dear software engineer, developer, and chess player, Lync!

Now let's get into the update!

New Characters:

One of Nagato's Six Paths of Pain, the Female Animal Path is a relentless and tactical combatant who overwhelms her enemies through the summoning of massive, destructive creatures. Calm and emotionless, she specializes in battlefield control, using her summons to pressure multiple opponents at once while remaining difficult to pin down.

Reanimated by Kabuto during the Fourth Shinobi World War along with his Sound Four teammates, Jiroubou is back on the battlefield, and is out for blood. With immense brute force through his mastery of the Cursed Seal, as well as his Earth Release and chakra absorption techniques, Jiroubou is a threat to anyone.

Reanimated by Kabuto during the Fourth Shinobi World War along with his Sound Four teammates, Kidoumaru is happy to be back in action and wreaking havoc once again. Terrorizing the battlefield with his many spider-based jutsu, enhanced by his Cursed Seal, Kidoumaru is a menace to all who cross his path.

Reanimated by Kabuto during the Fourth Shinobi World War along with their Sound Four teammates, Sakon and Ukon relish being on the battlefield once again. Dynamically splitting and merging their bodies through the use of their Cursed Seal, the twins fight as a powerful unit, showing no mercy to anyone.

Edo Tensei Tayuya was resurrected by Kabuto as a cruel battlefield conductor, her malice and arrogance undimmed by death. She uses her cursed flute to summon demonic warriors and unravel enemies through sound-based genjutsu and mental pressure. As the fight drags on, her control tightens, turning chaos into a carefully orchestrated nightmare.

Edo Tensei Kimimaro was resurrected by Kabuto as an unfeeling weapon of war, his loyalty and discipline preserved even beyond death. He wields the Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Genkai to turn his own skeleton into blades and armor, growing stronger the longer he remains unbroken. Every strike hardens his defenses, and every moment of restraint builds toward an inevitable, bone-shattering end.

Resurrected through Edo Tensei, Yagura retains perfect control over the Three-Tails' power. His Water Mirror techniques allow him to capture, store, and return enemy techniques with deadly precision, turning an opponent’s own strength against them while remaining nearly untouchable.

A countless army born from Hashirama's cells—harmless in appearance, deadly in numbers. Character submited by: Akats.

Kakashi (S) and Itachi Reworks

Both characters have received changes in past Major Updates, aiming to optimize them, make them more fun, and most importantly, allow them to use the full potential of their original design concepts.

Even so, their winrates have consistently hovered around 30% to 35%, and I believe that even with additional buffs, it wouldn't be enough to make them consistent and truly viable.

Because of that, we decided to abandon these legacy designs and introduce something not-so-new, but fun, so they can finally stand against other characters that have already been optimized/released after the Major Balances began.

Note: Both characters have inherited all skills from their future versions. With that said, both Shinobi Alliance Kakashi (S) and Edo Tensei Itachi (S) will be temporarily disabled until they receive new reworks in January. Don't worry, you will still have them unlocked once they are re-enabled!

Winrates

I forgot to update characters' winrate on this update, and they were already reset so I can't update them anymore. Sorry!
